Berthing Aid System

Oceanstar™ is an onboard decision support system that enhances berthing operation and vessel navigation in confined waters. The system shows position and movement within, or relative to, predefined corridors or quaysides and provides GNSS quality data.

OceanstarTM uses high performance global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) to improve navigational safety and reduce operating costs.

Simple to install and suitable for all kinds of large commercial vessels, our twin GNSS systems are installed fore and aft to build a complete picture of vessel movement.

Combined GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo data, together with sophisticated positioning technology, help to achieve decimetre level accuracy which is suitable for integration with the latest bridge systems and electronic charts.
